Lake Winnipesaukee SummerSpring brings a rebirth to the Lakes Region with the first run of maple syrup from sugar maples in Sandwich, Tuftonboro and the surrounding towns. From the towns of Moultonborough, and Center Harbor at the northern tip of Lake Winnipesaukee to the town of Alton at the southern tip of the lake, the apple blossoms, lilacs, and cherry trees bloom with the advent of warm days.
